Hi all,
RAVET 0.1.0 is out. It's a framework for writing audio plug-ins and standalone audio apps in Rust. You write the processor and editor once, and it builds them as VST3, CLAP, LV2, Audio Unit and AAX plug-ins on macOS, Windows and Linux (AU on macOS only, and no AAX on Linux).
To try it:
git clone --branch v0.1.0 https://github.com/mo0kid/ravet cd ravet python3 scripts/bundle-clap.py --plugin delay That builds the example delay as a CLAP plug-in. The getting started guide covers using RAVET from your own project:
Plug-ins built with it have run in REAPER on all three platforms, and in Ableton Live 12, Logic Pro and Pro Tools on macOS. The support matrix lists
exactly what's been tested:
It's GPL-3.0, with commercial licences available. Feedback is very welcome, here or on the forum: https://ravet.discourse.group/
