I recently released v2.0 of an open-source REST API boilerplate I've been maintaining.

It includes JWT authentication, email verification, password recovery, Zod validation, OpenAPI 3.1 documentation, and a background email worker.

The architecture uses domain-owned modules to keep controllers, services, repositories, and schemas together.

I'd be interested in feedback on the architecture and what developers consider essential in a modern Node.js backend starter.
