A Lido withdrawal has two stages, and only the first happens by itself. After you request a withdrawal, the protocol finalizes it, usually within a few days. The ETH does not arrive in your wallet at that point. You still have to send a claim transaction.
That catches people out. The request looks finished, nothing arrives, and it is easy to assume something went wrong. In most cases the ETH is waiting for you, with no deadline to claim it.
How to claim
- Open the official Lido app at stake.lido.fi and connect the wallet that made the request.
- Go to Withdrawals, then Claim.
- Select the finalized requests and confirm. You pay only the network fee.
Check the address carefully. Fake staking sites are common, so type it yourself or use a bookmark rather than following a link from a message.
What the status means
- Pending: the request is in the queue. A few days is normal, and it can take longer when many people exit at once.
- Ready to claim (finalized): the ETH is available. Claim it whenever you like.
- Claimed: it is finished, and the ETH should be in the wallet.
While a request waits, its amount stops earning staking rewards, so there is little reason to leave a finalized request unclaimed.
Moved your withdrawal NFT?
A request is represented by an unstETH NFT, and whoever holds that NFT can claim. If you moved it to another wallet, claim from that wallet.
Small amounts
If the amount is very small, the network fee on Ethereum can be higher than what you would receive. Waiting for a quieter period can help.
Check your own wallet
Check for unclaimed Lido withdrawals with StuckScan. It is free and read-only: you paste a public address, with no wallet connection and no signing. It shows what it checked on each chain, and anything it could not check is listed as such.
Never share your seed phrase or private key. Nobody legitimate needs them to help you, and BOTLAB never charges a fee to "recover" funds.
