Hyprland version 0.57.1 is available as a maintenance release addressing NVIDIA black screen issues, keyboard shortcut behaviors, and workspace configuration parsing.
The main fixes
The most significant change concerns computers with NVIDIA graphics cards, where an issue that caused black screens for some users is resolved. At the same time, issues with keyboard shortcuts and the way they interact with mouse movements have been fixed.
The update also brings improvements in several areas:
- Color rendering has been adjusted correctly depending on the screen.
- Correct display for small surfaces has been restored and the frames on the group bars have been rounded.
- Fixed a bug that occurred in session locking when a screen was removed.
- Full-screen windows now retain their state when an application requests to maximize.
- Resolved issues with workspace settings analysis, tablet allowable values, and settings checking.
The announcement for the new version was published on November 3, 2026.
