I wanted a simple way to track when YouTube creators swap titles and test new thumbnails so I can see how or why things were changed including their stats.
YouTube doesn't show test histories for other users, and thumbnail URLs don't change even when a creator uploads a new image. To catch the changes i setup:
• Monitors new uploads during their initial first few days. • Hashes thumbnail images directly to detect visual swaps and the view velocity shifts with them. • Tracks title edits and those view velocity shifts. • Automated daily or weekly emails w/ every change so i don't have to check a dashboard everyday.
Just a start for now, i have more planned.
